Central bank expects 2024 GDP to rise 2–3%, inflation at 4%
MOSCOW, Sep 2 (PRIME) -- The Russian central bank expects the gross domestic product (GDP) to increase by 2–3% in 2024 and inflation to amount to 4%, according to a statement released on Thursday.
The authority raised Russia's GDP growth estimate in 2021 to 4.0–4.5% from 3–4% in July and cut the 2022 one to 2–3% from 2.5–3.5%.
Inflation forecast grew to 5.7–6.2% for 2021 from 4.7–5.2%. The 2022 forecast amounts to 4.0–4.5%.
